In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager. Select a category to see names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you'd like to update. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. In the remaining list see if any App Updater is listed there, uncheck any you find Click Apply and OK Restart your System and this annoyance will be gone. Dave, unfortunately, I am not seeing my Microsoft Services for some odd reasons. Ahhh, under Details lots of svchost.exe type files? Which seem to be processed for Windows.

I also love that the program downloads the updates directly from the appropriate sites rather than my having to go to each individual site to download an update.
